The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected the outcome of the governorship election held in Enugu State on Saturday.
The APC guber candidate in Enugu State, Barr. Okey Ezea, who addressed journalists alongside Dr. Ben Nwoye, the State Chairman of the party, described the election as a sham.
According to Ezea, “it was nothing but a sham; it was marred by intimidation, harrasment, ballot box snatching, physical injury on APC thugs.
“PDP imported more than 5000 thugs, especially in Nsukka area; result sheets were also not available, result sheets were sold before the election”.
He further lamented that even though the REC had instructed that their should be no elections where result sheets were not available, compromised INEC officials formulated figures in most of the polling booths.
He said INEC sold more than 60 percent PVCs to the PDP, adding that “they used these cards to accredit themselves and then they used violence supported by the police”.
“As far as we are concerned, this is massive fraud and most of you saw it”, he alleged.
