It was an atmosphere of joy ,love and unity as Nwangele Progressive Union,Ghana Branch held an election to elect their Executives.Those elected would be in office for the next three years.
This Association is a platform for all individuals who come from all the Towns and Villages of Nwangele Local Government and are residing in Ghana.The Association has been in existence for the past five years and have really done so well in impacting positively on the lives of indigenes and Ghanaians.
Speaking after the election,the incumbent Chairman of this noble Association,Chief Solomon Njoku promised to do everything within his ability to promote the good ideals of the group.He assured that with his fellow Executives they would do everything possible to make Nwangele Association the pride of every other Nigerian Association in Ghana.
The newly elected Public Relation Officer of the Association,Comrade Barry Ndu Nwaihim promised to use his wealth of experience to promote the activities and ideals of the Association. He explained that Nwangele indigenes all over the world are industrious and hardworking people,willing at all times to do its best to contribute their quota to any environment they find themselves.He said he would use the experiences gotten as the PRO of Nigerian Community in Ghana to mobilize contacts and all necessary strategy to ensure Nwangele Progressive Union becomes the most sought after community Association in Ghana.
Mr Charles,one of the passionate and old time members prayed for Gods mercies and wisdom on the elected Executives.He promised that he would continue to support the Association to greater heights.A member popularly known as Alhaji Bamba expressed optimism that the future is so bright and asked everybody to get involved in promoting the vision of the new leaders.He assured never to relent in his usual support to the Organization.All the members who spoke to us confirmed their willingness to do their best to continuously promote the vision and urged everyone to attend their End of year party coming up on the 12th of November,2017.
Before the election,the Independent Electoral commission as led by Mr Ndubuisi Ejiofor urged every aspirant to put the community first even after they are elected.He explained that it was a family affair and there wouldn’t be any need for rancor.He promised to deliver a free and transparent election.
After the election which saw the incumbent Chairman ,Chief Solomon win his contender,Mr Kingsley Nwachukwu with a slim margin of 11-9,everybody went home satisfied with the outcome.

9. Chinedu Nwauke – Provost
The official presentation and swearing in would be during the next month meeting which also doubles as the End of year party.
