Apostle-General Anselm Madubuko has been named in the story of Popular American Pastor, author and filmmaker, Bishop Thomas Dexter Jakes, better known as Bishop T. D. Jakes, who has traced his roots to Nigeria, where he has discovered that he is an Igbo man of the South Eastern part of the country.
As revealed by Mrs. Ifeanyi Adefarasin of the House on the Rock Church, who noted that the Bishop of The Potter’s House, a nondenominational American mega church, stepped on Nigerian soil for the first time last week.
However, the American preacher has been given an Igbo name, Chukwudi.
He was given the name by the presiding Apostle of the Revival Assembly and Apostle-General of Apostolic Revival Ministers International Network (ARMIN), Anselm Madubuko, a source has disclosed.
According to the source, the American Bishop had visited Pastor Paul Adefarasin of the House on the Rock Church after he found to be an Igbo man and over a dinner table, the Apostle-General, on their host’s request, named him Chukwudi, meaning “there is God” or “God is”.
Apostle-General, Anselm Madubuko, an Igbo man, hails from Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Mrs Ifeanyi Adefarasin had wrote on her facebook wall, “Since tracing his roots back to the Igbo land in Nigeria, it was Bishop Thomas Dexter Jakes’ first time stepping on the Nigerian soil, with the knowledge that this is where he truly comes from.
“It was a special honour for me in particular, as a native sister, to present T.D. Jakes with a copy of Nigeria, Our Heritage…Our Commonwealth.
